Geraint Anderson

Portrait of Geraint Anderson
Geraint Anderson is a best-selling author, journalist, speaker and filmmaker. Tricked into joining an investment bank in 1996, he rose to run one of the City’s top-ranked teams before suffering a crisis of conscience and exposing the appalling behaviour he witnessed daily via an anonymous newspaper column. After a near-fatal motorbike accident in 2007, he left banking to write Cityboy, which sold over 400,000 copies and was translated into six languages. He later wrote two City-based novels and the award-winning feature film Trick or Treat. Geraint lives in Monmouthshire with his wife and two children. His next book, How to Con Friends and Manipulate People, will be published on 2 July 2026.
